Our Company: “A tradition of Quality”
Dashwood has been supplying window and door products to the building industry for over three quarters of a century. Initially a family run business with roots in woodworking and millwork supply, Dashwood evolved into a high quality supplier of window and door products. A milestone in that evolution occurred in 1995 when Dashwood became part of the Andersen Corporation headquartered in Bayport Minnesota; the tradition of quality continues throughout the Dashwood organization.
At our manufacturing facility in Centralia, Ontario, Canada, Dashwood manufactures solid vinyl windows and pre-hangs exterior entry doors for the Ontario market. Andersen roof windows, skylights and pour in place basement windows for world wide distribution are all manufactured here. Dashwood is also the sole Canadian distributor for the entire Andersen product line.
Dashwood is a proud member of the Canadian Window and Door Manufacturers Association (CWDMA). Our products are tested to the requirements of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and to ENERGY STAR specifications. We are also active in many local chapters of the Ontario Home Builders Association.
The tradition of community involvement and sponsorship of humanitarian causes continues at Dashwood. We are a proud participant in the Habitat for Humanity program. Since 2003 Dashwood and Andersen have participated in and sponsored 8 Habitat units in London, Ontario, as part of the Andersen Corporation's 100 years/100 homes commitment. Dashwood and its associates also support the United Way.
